James Craig Wade,  Vice President of Operations / General Manager

Craig Wade began his long railroad career as switchman and conductor for the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad in the middle 1970’s.   Recruited as a transportation coordinator for the TennKen Railroad, one of the first shortline railroads in the state of Tennessee, Craig quickly advanced up the ranks to Trainmaster, Superintendent, and then General Manager during his twenty year tenure at the Nashville & Eastern Railroad.  Now overseeing yard operations and over 150 miles of combined railroad right-of-way, Craig is our number one point man on the ground and has a nearly unparalleled knowledge of our operational logistics.  Craig currently serves as Vice Chairperson for the Tennessee Operation Lifesaver board of directors Craig and wife, Vicki, reside in Nashville, Tennessee and are the proud parents of their daughter, Ashley.
